SHALON Foundation’s “Shresth Nari Shashkat Nari” (Empowered Women, Empowered Society) program is a testament to our unwavering belief in the power of women’s leadership to drive positive change. We are dedicated to creating an environment where women can thrive, lead, and contribute meaningfully to their families, communities, and society as a whole.

Our Approach:

We take a multi-pronged approach to empower women across various spheres of life:

1. Leadership Development:

   • We offer comprehensive leadership training programs that focus on building essential skills such as communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation.
   • Our workshops and seminars are designed to boost women’s confidence, enhance their leadership potential, and prepare them for leadership roles in various sectors.

2. Mentorship and Guidance:

   • We facilitate mentorship programs that connect aspiring women leaders with experienced mentors who offer guidance, support, and inspiration.
   • Our mentors provide valuable insights, share their experiences, and help women navigate the challenges of leadership roles.

3. Skill Development and Entrepreneurship:

   • We offer vocational training programs in various domains, such as handicrafts, tailoring, beauty, and entrepreneurship, to equip women with marketable skills.
   • We provide financial literacy training and access to microfinance to support women in starting and managing their own businesses.

4. Advocacy and Awareness:

   • We raise awareness about gender equality issues and advocate for policies that promote women’s rights and empowerment.
   • We engage with communities, government bodies, and other stakeholders to create a more supportive environment for women’s advancement.

Our Impact:

• Over 300 women have successfully completed our training programs and secured employment.
• 32 women have been supported in starting their own businesses.
• In partnership with the Rajasthan Government’s Voluntary Sector Development Center (VSDC), we organized the Women’s Achievement Award, honoring 31 exceptional women leaders from across the state.
